Dragons RFC are delighted to announce a new multi-year contract extension with Official Kit Partners, VX3.
Our exciting partnership with leading sportswear specialists VX3 has developed and grown substantially since we first joined forces in 2018.
That successful relationship has today been underlined with a new three-year contract extension, that will see VX3 supply Dragons RFC until at least the end of the 2027.
VX3 will now continue to work side-by-side with Dragons RFC to develop the club’s impressive team kit, leisure wear and supporter range, and invest in community work right across Gwent.
Jonathan Westwood, Commercial Director at Dragons RFC, said: “Our extension with VX3 demonstrates what a perfect sporting partnership should be – friendship, teamwork, shared values, and a commitment to keep developing fresh ideas with innovative products and designs.
“To be able to grow the partnership year on year, is testament to all members of both organisations, and we look forward to pushing ahead with more dual initiatives over the next three years.
“VX3 have become synonymous throughout the sporting landscape of the Gwent region and to be able to share this success, via Dragons RFC and Newport County, gives us great pride throughout Rodney Parade.”
A fresh and innovative sportswear brand who specialise in high performance technical sportswear, VX3 service teams and sports clubs from grassroots level through to elite-level professional outfits.
One of the core aims of VX3, which stands for Veni Vidi Vici – Latin for I came, I saw, I conquered – is to equip athletes to conquer.
Ben Lovell, VX3 Commercial Director at VX3, said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership for the long term. This agreement goes beyond the supply of technical teamwear and retail. It is based on true friendship and mutual respect, and these values allow us to collaborate on the creation and development of innovative, unique, and high-performance products.
“Our relationship with the Dragons is important to us as they have been an ever-present in VX3's recent history, and this extension further strengthens our ties to elite sport in the Gwent region.
“The club is in an exciting time with lots of local talent being introduced into the squad. Working with clubs and schools in and around the region is a key pillar for the brand in South Wales.
“It is an exciting challenge for us to develop new merchandise for a fan base that is passionate about the colours and symbols of the club. We look forward to furthering develop this with our new Friars Walk city centre shop, plus Rodney Parade store and Online shop.”
