Dragons RFC are delighted to announce their partnership with renewable energy developer - Bute Energy.
The partnership will allow Dragons to continue and expand their work within sustainable green energy and community environments.
Bute Energy’s mission is to create renewable energy projects to deliver a wealthier, healthier Wales, something which marries perfectly with Dragons’ focus on sustainability.
Last year, Dragons won the Sustainable Spectator Travel Event of the Year for 2024 at the Team Modeshift National Sustainable Travel Awards, nominated alongside Watford FC and Manchester City.
Bute Energy and their staff are no strangers to winning awards themselves with their Education Lead, Catrin Leader, honoured with Outstanding Personal Contribution Award at the Valued Partner Awards 2025 hosted by Careers Wales.
However, awards are merely a byproduct of the work which is possible to achieve within this partnership.
Activities which will benefit from this collaboration include the Fit Fed Fun programme, feeding thousands of children in some of the nation’s most under-resourced areas, along with Sporting Memories, helping those with Dementia by providing a friendship network, along with supporting the members and carers.
