Dragons RFC hooker Brodie Coghlan made his international debut as Wales tackled New Zealand at Principality Stadium.
Coghlan was a second half replacement in the capital in a game that saw a hat-trick of tries from Tom Rogers and record equalling fourth try from Louis Rees-Zammit at the death – only the second time Wales had scored four tries against the All Blacks and the first time in Cardiff.
Wales went down to a 52-26 defeat as the mighty All Blacks made it 34 successive wins over their age old rivals.
Howevet, there was plenty for new head coach Steve Tandy to admire in his side’s battling performance as they prepare to round off their Quilter Nations Series against the world champion Springboks next weekend.
