There will be two practical CPD sessions for Mini and Junior coaches, volunteers and parents which will be followed by a ‘Club Culture’ seminar in the Bisley Suite. Club operations staff from the WRU will be promoting good practice and advice on club recruitment, funding and social media. Mike Sage from the Dragons Community team will also be presenting on club offers, match day experience and the Dragons Education programme.The evening will commence at 6pm with two practical sessions, delivered by four of the current first team squad.Topics covered will be:
- Crouch, bind, set - building a scrum. This will be delivered by Newport Gwent Dragons Captain Thomas Rhys Thomas and Hugh Gustafson.
- Keeping it alive- keeping ball alive in contact. This will be delivered by James Thomas and Elliot Dee.
