Dragons hooker Brodie Coghlan has received his first senior Wales call-up ahead of the Autumn internationals.
The 24-year-old from Newport is among five Dragons included within the squad alongside Ben Carter, Chris Coleman, Rio Dyer and Aaron Wainwright.
Carter, Wainwright and Coleman were all included within the summer tour to Japan with the latter making his debut in the second test.
The squad is Steve Tandy’s first since being named as Wales head coach in late July and his 39-man squad will be led by captain Jac Morgan.
Coghlan is one of five uncapped players along with Ospreys forwards James Fender and Morgan Morse; Cardiff Rugby prop Danny Southworth and Bath Rugby centre Louie Hennessey.
There are call ups for Jacob Beetham, Rhys Davies, Dyer, Jarrod Evans, Joe Hawkins, Max Llewellyn, Louis Rees-Zammit, Callum Sheedy and Nick Tompkins in a Wales squad that has an average age of 26.
Rhys Carre is also included following confirmation by the Professional Rugby Board that he is eligible for Wales selection.
Dragons RFC Head Coach Filo Tiatia said: "Huge congratulations go to our five Dragons who have earned these selections, especially for Brodie Coghlan who wins his first call-up to the international set-up.
"We wish all five every success when they link up with Wales, following our league fixture with Ospreys this weekend, and look forward to seeing them take this opportunity with their country in the Quilter Nations Series."
Tandy said: “It's been really exciting going through the whole process and realising how many good players we've got.
“We've got to the decision of the selection, which we are really happy with.
“There's a really good mix of some young guys coming in, mixed with some experience as well but the overall feeling is really exciting and I can't wait to get the boys into camp on Monday.”
