Dragons RFC is delighted to launch the inaugural Dragons Community Awards as we celebrate achievements within our community programme and within rugby across clubs, schools and organisations across Gwent.
The new awards will celebrate community success stories both in our provisions but also across Gwent as we recognise the clubs, schools, coaches and volunteers who make such a difference and support our sport’s growth.
The first ever Dragons Community Awards evening will be held at Rodney Parade on Thursday, May 7.
Nominations are open as we look to recognise excellence, commitment, and impact in community rugby and social inclusion initiatives.
Mike Sage, Head of Community at Dragons RFC, said: “We’re delighted to announce we will host the first-ever Dragons Community Awards at Rodney Parade in May.
“It will be a special evening as we recognise and celebrate key individuals and organisations who interact with our Family of Provisions every year alongside the outstanding work going on in our wider community across the region.
“We are opening nominations up to the public in four key categories as we look to celebrate those individuals and clubs who make a difference to our game.
“Tickets are on sale now for the evening and we look forward to welcoming nominees, guests, partners and supporters to what we are sure will become a key night in our rugby calendar.”
