Dragons welcome back Aaron Wainwright, Elliot Dee and Rhodri Williams this week who are all eligible for selection following their Six Nations campaign with Wales.
Those returnees are joined by vice-captains Matthew Screech and Harrison Keddie, back from injury, with the latter set to celebrate his 100th league appearance if selected.
It is a welcome return for Keddie who has been injured since the loss at Connacht in late October.
Following a “niggly” injury which has gone on longer than he “would have liked”, Keddie is “excited to be back available” although his sole focus will be on getting the win rather than any 100th league game celebrations.
“I’m focused on the game really,” said Keddie. “Not too worried about reaching 100 league games.”
“Milestones are always nice of course but it’s always nicer if we win.”
Dragons travel to Edinburgh next week before Judgement Day at the Principality Stadium followed by away trips to Ospreys and a South African double header to end the season, meaning Saturday is the players’ final chance to play in front of the Rodney Parade faithful.
“We say it every week, we've got a great set fans,” said Keddie.
“Some real loyal fans turn up to watch us every week and when we give them a performance to be proud of it's always a great atmosphere in there and they make themselves heard, which is massive for us.
“I think they deserve it as much as we do, a big performance in our last game there for a few months.”
Keddie recently joined the likes of fellow vice-captain Aneurin Owen, Wales Six Nations squad members Dee and Williams plus exciting full back Huw Anderson in signing new deals at the club.
“I love the club,” said Keddie. “I’ve been here for nine, ten years now and grew up supporting the club.”
“It means a lot to me to play here and like I said when I re-signed to be given the opportunity to stay is massive to me and for Dragons to show their faith, even though I’ve been injured, it means a lot.
“You look at some of the young boys who have played this year and stepped up over the last few months, like Huw Anderson, Westy and then Woody up front as well, it makes a hell of a difference.
“I think if we could just help push those boys along and then obviously there's talk about new signings coming in as well.
“Hopefully there’ll be something good to build on for next year.”
