Cerphilly-born tight-head prop Luke Yendle came through Dragons’ transitional squad, making his debut as a replacement against Wasps in December 2020, aged just 20. 

He has since gone on to make a total of 20 appearances for the region along with a successful loan period with English Championship side Jersey Reds during the 2021/22 season. 

Yendle is a former Wales Under-18s and 19s international and had his most memorable moment to date for the Dragons, scoring his first, and thus far only try, in a match-winning last-minute effort against Ospreys in the opening game of the 2024/25 season.
