Wales and British & Irish Lions ace Jamie Roberts joined Dragons in August 2020.

Roberts made his full debut for Cardiff Blues in 2007 and made 86 appearances for the region, scoring 18 tries, before a move to Racing Metro in 2013.

He made his Wales debut in the 2008 Six Nations clash with Scotland and would go on to feature in the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cup. He was a Grand Slam winner in 2008, 2012 and also lifted the Six Nations trophy in 2013.

Roberts was named Lions Player of the Series in 2009 in South Africa. He toured again in 2013 and scored in the third Test against Australia to seal a historic series win.

He was an Anglo Welsh Cup winner in 2009 and lifted the Amlin Challenge Cup with Cardiff Blues in 2010. Roberts featured for Cambridge University in the Varsity Match in 2015, while studying a Master of Philosophy in Medical Science.

Roberts is a qualified doctor after graduating from Cardiff University School of Medicine in 2013 after eight years of study.

He also featured for the Barbarians in a December 2009 victory over New Zealand.
