After eight years at the Scarlets, centre Steff Hughes joined the Dragons at the start of the 2022/2023 season following a successful training period with the club. A consistent performer in the middle of the park Hughes became a regular in the Dragons line-up throughout his debut campaign scoring three tries in 18 appearances for the region. A natural leader and a model professional Hughes performances earned him a new long-term deal at the club ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
