Loosehead prop Rhodri Jones began his career at the Scarlets before making the switch to the Ospreys in 2016 where he spent six years in Swansea. Jones made his debut off the bench in the 45-0 victory over Newcastle and represented the region 84 times and scored one try. Aberystwyth born, Jones, then made the move East joining the Dragons ahead of the 2022/2023 campaign.

The Welsh international made 13 appearances during his debut season for the club, which included a call up to the national squad under Wayne Pivac for the Autumn Nations Series, where he earned his most recent three caps against Argentina, Georgia and Australia and as of June 2023 Jones has 24 caps for Wales.

The former Wales U20 prop was first called into the senior squad in the autumn of 2011 but he had to wait until the following summer to make his debut against the Barbarians at the Millennium Stadium. Jones won his second cap a year later against Japan in Tokyo in 2013 before making three starts in that year’s autumn campaign. On the other side of the scrum at tight-head he then featured in all five of Wales 2014 RBS 6 Nations games, starting the final outing against Scotland.
